Supporting women's empowerment...every little bit helps.
I've been thinking about the different organizations that Orange Scarf has donated to since January. There are so many worthy organizations that help empower women (and girls), that it's almost too hard to choose just one. Then I began to wonder if a $100 monthly donation is good enough and I remembered a video I saw years ago, called "The Girl Effect". This naturally prompted an immediate investigation to see what's happening now...

Powerful stuff... what do you think? I think our $100 donation and the scarves we sell that are made by women in programs that support their empowerment is enough, because every little bit helps.

Do you only sell orange scarves?
One of the most frequent questions I am asked when I am selling scarves is "Do you only sell orange scarves?", followed quickly by "how did you come up with the name Orange Scarf? It must seem a little funny that someone would sell only orange scarves! In fact, I admit it, orange is not one of my favorite colors.
